According to the head of software.company Zhang Guoquan, Xiaomi plans to update the flagships Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, as well as Mi MIX 3 and Mi MIX 2S to the new shell. All four devices were presented back in 2018. The devices are powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor. Unfortunately, there is no release date for the firmware yet. It will most likely be released in the second half of 2021.
