Cooler Master redesigned the tube with thermal grease - "tired of explaining to parents that these are not drugs"

The well-known manufacturer of computer components Cooler Master decided to change the design of the tube with thermal paste.

And it’s a very funny story.

Why?

Typically, Cooler Master sold thermal paste in tubes similar to syringes, only with a company logo and a wide hole that was definitely not intended for a needle.

But this design had to be changed, and this is how the company explained it:

“We changed the shape of the syringe not to make it easier to apply thermal paste, but because we were tired of explaining to parents that their child does not use drugs.”

The new tubes no longer look like syringes. Now they look more like markers with a wide, flattened body. Therefore, parents can sleep peacefully.
