The unc0ver jailbreak tool has been on our radar for the past few weeks thanks to
CoolStar developer shared a screenshot-teaser of the Chimera13 jailbreak tool for iPadOS 13:
The screenshot resembles the original Chimera jailbreak, so the user interface has not changed much. If you previously used the Chimera jailbreak, then you know how the tool works.
Chimera13 seems to be using an exploit"Oob_timestamp", like unc0ver. However, CoolStar previously wrote that Chimera13 will support more devices with iOS 13.0-13.3, and not just A12 (X) -A13, like unc0ver. CoolStar targets A9-A11 devices.
The release date of Chimera13 developer has not yetreported, so it’s not known how long it will take. We know that the tool will work in tandem with the tweak manager Sileo and Substitute. Jailbreak unc0ver uses Cydia and Cydia Substrate or Substitute.
