We examined assumptions that humancells and the molecular mechanisms operating within them convert COVID-19 RNA into DNA, causing irreversible mutations, conducted DNA sequencing and found no evidence of COVID-19 in DNA.

As a result, it turned out that SARS-CoV-2 issingle-stranded polyadenylated RNA-beta-coronavirus, which does not encode reverse transcriptase (RT) and, therefore, is unable to induce mutations that allow it to integrate into human genomic DNA during its life cycle.

According to the authors, one of the reasons for such a study was a large number of misconceptions around a new type of coronavirus and vaccination.
