AI is built on the basis of a supercomputer,which performance is more than 1 exaFLOPS. Scientists say they have made hardware changes to the architecture and emphasize the complexity of such work, because the OceanLight system has 42 million computing cores.
Researchers say artificialintelligence can operate 174 trillion parameters. AI is able to compete with the cerebral cortex of the human brain, which has about 125 trillion synapses.
The system has 96,000 nodes that run on390-core Sunway SW39010 chipsets. This is one of the world's first supercomputers with a performance of more than 1 exaFLOPS. Actual performance including AI is 5.3 exaFLOPS.
