Cryptocurrency mined for almost three years in a Moscow restaurant

The owner of a Moscow restaurant told reporters that an electrician and a system administrator set up a

a cryptocurrency farm on the premises.In two and a half years, employees managed to obtain digital currency worth several million rubles. And the restaurant owner had to pay huge electricity bills.

The victim said that the farm's hard driveshave been included since 2017. The restaurant employees were engaged in cryptocurrency mining until August 2019. Before the launch of the farm, the establishment paid 500 thousand per month for electricity, and after - 700 thousand.

Interestingly, all mining equipment washidden behind a drywall in the basement. The restaurant owner hopes to prosecute two employees. The cryptocurrency miners themselves, by the way, deny guilt.
