The company confirmed that it has closed its network of mono-brand salons. “After Apple announced its withdrawal from the Russian market, further development of mono-brand store formats, which is the Cstore project, became impossible,” said Svyaznoy President Alexey Vukolov.
He also said that Cstore stores were located in shopping centers, where traffic dropped very quickly, but rents remained high.
Kommersant recalled that the first Cstoreopened in 2013. There were 40 such stores in total. The source of the publication noted that there is practically no hope for the resumption of official relations with Apple.
