Curiosity rover finds alien Cocoa on Mars

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) rover Curiosity

continues to explore the expanses of the Red Planet. Recently, he managed to find an object of alien origin on Mars.

What is known

Curiosity working in Gale Crater, widthwhich is 154 km. He landed there at the end of the summer of 2012. The rover was able to detect a meteorite 30 cm wide. It consists of nickel and iron. The meteorite was named Cacao.

For 10 years of service, the rover has collected enoughamount of data to support the hypothesis that the study area may have inhabited rivers and lakes. It is possible that microorganisms could have formed here over millions of years, but it is not Curiosity that is looking for them, but the newer Perseverance rover, which landed in Lake Jezero two years ago along with an unmanned helicopter Ingenuity.
