Cyberpunk 2077 players got a new surprise: DLC will be paid

Earlier this year, fans of Cyberpunk 2077 learned about plans for the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, which will be available

only on the latest generation consoles and PC (thenthere is Xbox One and PlayStation 4, after all their adventures, they will not receive them. Today another important detail has been revealed that will disappoint many. During a podcast with GamesRadar+, one of the heads of CD Projekt RED told listeners that Phantom Liberty will be paid. The exact price is still under discussion, but GamesRadar recalled that DLC for The Witcher 3 cost $10 and $20 (the second was more expensive due to an additional map with tasks and all that).

In addition, the manager “announced”release of a collection that will include the game and this expansion, which will cost less than the game at launch. Let us remind you that Phantom Liberty will be released next year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The current version for consoles was obtained through the release of a free patch for the PS4/Xbox One edition. Unfortunately, there will be no moral compensation in the form of free DLC for those who stayed with the developers and did not return the game to the store.
