Dead Island 2 has new developers and gamers waiting for "awesome zombie game"

Initially, the development of Dead Island 2 involvedcreators of the first part from Techland. Over time, the studio switched forces to Dying Light, giving the project to Yager Developments in 2012. Already in 2016, Sumo Digital, the developers of Crackdown 3, took on Dead Island 2, and in early 2019, the project fell into the hands of Dambuster Studios, the authors of Homefront: The Revolution.
