The company spoke about their new project - a remotely controlled quadrocopter. It has an Axon Air video camera and a miniature version of the Taser stun weapon.
When activated, the stun gun firestwo small darts that are connected to the device with a thin wire. When these darts hit a person (like a shooter), they short out and the person is shocked. Ideally, this should result in a person being temporarily incapacitated, although there are cases of death from such weapons.
The drone will become part of a larger system,it will include a whole network of surveillance cameras. They will be placed in schools, enterprises and other places. The developers hope that this combined approach will stop the mass shooting in less than 60 seconds.
