DeltaQuad unveils B-2 Spirit nuclear bomber-style Evo eVTOL flying wing

The Dutch company DeltaQuad presented the Evo eVTOL unmanned aerial vehicle with an aerodynamic scheme

a "flying wing" in the style of the American B-2 Spirit strategic bomber.

What is known

Evo eVTOL has a flat body shape (almost)triangle that allows the aircraft to glide in the air. But the company added two vertical takeoff and landing propellers. A large propeller is installed at the back, which provides horizontal flight.

The body of the Evo eVTOL is made from durablematerials based on fiberglass, kevlar and carbon. The drone can carry a payload of up to 3 kg - conventional and thermal imaging cameras, LiDAR. It is also possible to use a drone to deliver small parcels under the control of an operator.

Evo eVTOL can stay in the air for 3 hours atfully loaded and 4.5 hours if one of the two cargo compartments is used. DeltaQuad conducts tests of the drone, so the company keeps most of the technical characteristics, including speed, a secret. The price is also not specified.
