Denmark will send 19 Caesar self-propelled howitzers with improved armor and 36 rounds of ammunition to Ukraine

The Danish government has announced a new military aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

What is known

Denmark will transfer 19 self-propelled artillery to the Ukrainian Armed ForcesCaesar installations. What’s interesting is that these are all French self-propelled guns that are in service with Denmark. The installations will be handed over free of charge. In addition to them, Ukraine will also receive a training program. In addition to this, Denmark is ready to consider the possibility of purchasing additional installations for the APU. By the way, the Danish versions of the Caesar self-propelled guns are slightly different from the French ones. They have more weight, better armor and ammunition includes not 18 shells, but 36.
