Yesterday Honor announced the date of the big event, which will be the final one in 2022 and will bring with it a new
MagicOS shell and “certain“flagship products”. According to insiders, we know that we are talking about the Honor 80 series, the older model of which will boast a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, as well as the foldable Honor Magic Vs. Speaking of the latter: a diagram has surfaced on Weibo indicating that there are no significant changes in the design relative to the original Magic V. All the changes took place internally: the chipset was replaced by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and the battery, as it turned out earlier, will become a record in the folding segment ( 5000 mAh). And this despite the fact that the smartphone itself will be lighter than all competitors (261 g). I would like to believe that Honor has also worked on the steep price of its predecessor, but we will find out about this only in a couple of weeks.
