The test center will appear near Madrid. The first tranche in the amount of €12 million was allocated for its creation. The second tranche in the amount of €15 million will finance the research.
According to representatives of Destinus, the passengera supersonic aircraft will allow flying from Frankfurt to Sydney in 4 hours and 15 minutes, and from Frankfurt to Shanghai in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Now the flight from Europe to Australia lasts 20 hours.
Thanks to the received Destinus grants, in the near futuretime to start testing the H2 jet engine. The company will also accelerate the development of technology for power plants that run solely on hydrogen.
