Have you covered up the freebie? Microsoft blocks “illegal” Game Pass Ultimate

A strange story unfolds around the Game Pass Ultimate subscription service. Many users around the world

report a failure, the essence of which iscanceling an existing subscription, supposedly at the request of a user who in fact did not exist. Technical support confirmed that the problem is widespread and occurs among players from different regions, but the most curious thing is that some of them allegedly receive a message about a specific reason for canceling their subscription – “illegal” method of obtaining it, which violates the Xbox Community Guidelines.

Note that Xbox Game Pass subscriptions have severalloopholes that allow users to significantly save on the subscription service, which is why Microsoft loses money in an area that is already not the most liquid. Such a “hard reset” may have the goal of weeding out some of them and attracting additional funds. However, it may also be that there was a banal technical failure of the servers, due to which the company will have a significant increase in work. Let us remind you that in March Xbox announced the cessation of its activities in Russia, so purchase a console or services “in white” not yet.
