42% of Russians are ready to be vaccinated against coronavirus

Specialists of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Social

opinions conducted a survey in which they took partabout 1.6 thousand residents of Russia aged 18 years and older. The results of this work made it possible to find out how many Russians are ready to get vaccinated against coronavirus.

So, according to the data reported by the head of VTsIOMValery Fedorov, about 42% expressed their readiness to be vaccinated against coronavirus by means of the domestic Sputny V vaccine. At the same time, 52% of Russians are not ready to use the vaccine.

“An interesting case to understand howthe state our society is in today. On the one hand, we are all afraid and want, of course, to remove this fear. We want to be guaranteed not to get infected. How? To do this, of course, you need to be vaccinated. However, the majority do not plan to get vaccinated. Why? They are afraid, they don’t believe, they are afraid,” – Fedorov concluded.
