According to statistics, more than 34.8 million Russians out of 58.1 million insured decided to keep a paper work record book. Just over 5 million people have applied for an electronic work record book.

Recall that in July 2020, a decree was issued,according to which, from January 1, 2021, Russians can create an electronic work book. Earlier, the deputy head of Rostrud explained that this version of the document is more convenient because it cannot be lost. In addition, the electronic work book reduces the risk of errors when filling out data. It should be noted that if a citizen is officially employed for the first time in 2021, his data will be stored only in electronic form.
