CD Projekt RED has put a lot of effort into improving the technical condition of the next-generation version of The Witcher 3.

Many patches have been released and, as Digital Foundry experts note, the work of Polish game designers deserves praise.

After update 4.02, the console versions of the famous role-playing game have gained the best performance.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, updated TheThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt now runs at a steady 60fps with no noticeable graphical changes. Moreover, on the Xbox Series X, the performance is slightly higher than on the Japanese console.

As always, the only exception is the centralNovigrad Square, in this location productivity still drops, but not as much as it was before. And the ray tracing issues weren't fixed. This option only works correctly on Xbox Series X.
