The network published the first test results of the new 14-inch MacBook Pro in the Geekbench 5 benchmark.
It turned out that the 8-core model is 20% slower10-core. So, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with an 8-core chip in the multi-thread test got a score of 9948 points. A 14-inch MacBook Pro with a 10-core chip has about 12,700 points.
In terms of single-core performance, the 8-core M1 Pro processor performed roughly the same results as the standard M1, M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.
Compared to the M1 in the multi-threaded test, the 8-core M1 Pro is 30% faster. It should be noted that these are still preliminary results, it is worth waiting for more evaluations.
