The Walt Disney Company held a presentation for investors to show off its streaming service Disney+
What is known
This is a Netflix competitor that brings everything togetherthe company's popular franchises: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. The new service will be available on smart TVs, smartphones and tablets. It can also be used in the browser and on Sony and Roku consoles.
In addition to existing films and variousTV shows, Disney plans to create exclusive projects specifically for the new service. Some of these are series based on the Star Wars universe and Marvel comics: The Madalorian, WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Price
The monthly subscription will cost $7. There will also be an opportunity to subscribe for a year at once for $70.
When to expect
Disney+ will launch this November. It will initially be available in several countries, but will expand its geography in the future.
