DisplAir – interactive display that projects an image in the air, created by Russian

developers. The image is projected onto a thin, cool, stabilized stream of air containing tiny 2 micron water particles. Due to their ultra-small sizes and strong surface tension, water particles remain solid, do not leave wet marks, and are resistant to heat and frost.

Water particle properties and aerodynamicfeatures allow you to maintain the integrity and stability of the image with the penetration of foreign objects. Optical sensors allow you to record up to 1500 touches simultaneously with a delay time of less than 0.2 s. Consumable material is water, which apparatus uses 1.5 liters per hour of operation.
