Avast has warned about the spread of a Trojan virus that regularly steals money and threatens

Android device owners. Discuss

The virus is called SMSFactory, infects smartphonesthrough push notifications — small message boxes that appear on the screen of the device — and through malicious ads on streaming services. SMSFactory masquerades as adult apps and mobile services with pirated games.

Theft of money from users occurs with the help ofwrite-offs - the virus subscribes users to various paid subscriptions using short numbers from SMS. It has been recorded that basically the victims of the virus regularly pay an additional $7 per week, about 443 rubles at the current exchange rate.

Now the Trojan is active in Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Turkey and Ukraine.
