Drones will be sent to Saturn's moon Titan to look for life there

The new mission to Titan will be called Poseidon, and its task is to study lakes and rivers in the polar regions

satellite, as well as gather information about the atmosphere, geology of Titan and try to find traces of life.

While the configuration of the mission is unknown, it ismaybe a floating drone that dives into the lakes and seas of Titan, or several flying mini-drones that study the surface of the satellite. The devices will observe the atmosphere and photograph the ground.

Also, a separate orbital part will be created for the mission: it will not beThe agency noted that the best way to learn about the moon at most is to combine the study of the surface and bodies of water of Titan.

The vehicle, which descends into lakes and rivers, will act as a base agent, as a charging station and a place to collect information frommini-drones.

Scientists also set themselves the goal of investigating seasonal changes in the atmosphere of Titan, which remain unknown.
