Drones will bring American military ammunition to the battlefield

The U.S. Army intends to create drones that can deliver ammunition and provisions to the military on the field

battle and at remote bases.

According to N + 1, the US Army has issued a request for information about such drones. The US military intends to take them into service by 2026.

Such a drone should have a mass of less than 590kilograms and carrying capacity up to 363 kilograms. The range of the device should be at least 177 kilometers. Another requirement for a drone is that it can be prepared for operation in no more than 15 minutes.

Also, the drone should be able to automatically take off, land and fly along a given route in conditions of suppression of GPS signals. The design of the apparatus must be modular.
