Elon Musk: Starship can lift 1,000 times more cargo than other rockets

It is now known that Starship should put a total of 41 thousand tons of cargo into orbit in the third quarter of 2021, this

inferior to the record 45 thousand tons that Chinese missiles were able to deliver.

But the CEO of SpaceX the day before, 8November, said that Starship is a rocket with the best characteristics and has no analogues. The updated stainless steel spacecraft can carry 1,000 times more cargo than other rockets:

So far, the characteristics of Starship are notconfirmed, as the US Federal Aviation Administration is still evaluating the device to decide whether to license the spacecraft at high altitudes or not. Earlier, in early 2021, SpaceX tested the rocket's launch and landing capabilities.

China is now ahead of SpaceX in terms of numbersof cargo launched into orbit: the country managed to transport 45 thousand tons, while SpaceX launched only 32 thousand tons into orbit. Later, as Elon Musk clarified in a separate tweet, a little more was delivered into orbit: 41 thousand tons.

Musk noted that China's achievements are impressive, but SpaceX is striving for more and the company plans to increase the amount of total payload launched to 80 thousand tons by the end of 2021.

It is planned that Starship will transport 150 tons per launch or 250 tons in a one-off format and depending on the terms of the deal with customers.
