Elon Musk's company will launch a cheap communication for the poor

SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, wants to provide Starlink phone services to low-income people at more

cheap rates.

This became known from the application that SpaceXfiled with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The company intends to provide services using VoIP technology, which involves voice over IP, in addition to a broadband connection. That is, the service will allow customers to call via Starlink. Users will be able to use any suitable phones.

SpaceX is also currently exploring the possibility of creatingown voice application on the Starlink network. The company also applied for the Lifeline program, which provides subsidies to provide services to low-income clients.

It is known that there are currently 10,000 Starlink users.
