Epic Games still doesn't say anything about its remastered Unreal Tournament 3 with the prefix "X"

Epic Games is still silent about its mysterious Unreal Tournament 3 X project, the page of which is stillActive in

Steam, but the company itself does not say anything about it and does not announce it.

What is known

Last December, Epic Games accidentallyshowed an updated version of Unreal Tournament 3 from 2007, which was supposed to be free on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store and it was not supposed to have in-game transactions. Apparently, work on the project has been going on since at least 2021, when information about it appeared during Epic Games' litigation with app stores.

So far, all the hopes of the fans are aimed atEpic State of Unreal event, which will take place during the Game Developers Conference on March 22 at 18:15 EEC and will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch.
