Epson launches $4k 4K projector

The company claims that its glass plate withPrecision shift can precisely refract light, providing "exceptionally sharp and clear images" with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, with an output image size of up to 76 cm. According to the manufacturer, the Epson Picture Processor can process images in real time with resolution enhancement, frame interpolation, color, contrast and HDR. The projector supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+, although there is no mention of Dolby Vision.

According to Epson, the LS11000 can output4K images at 120 fps with less than 20 milliseconds latency. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports on the rear panel, one of which supports eARC/ARC and Dolby Atmos.

Epson's latest laser projector is priced at $3,999 and will ship later this month.
