Estonia received six more K9 Kõu artillery mounts

The South Korean company Hanwha has delivered another batch of K9 Kõu self-propelled artillery systems to Estonia.

What is known

Estonia has ordered 24 howitzers to bedelivered within four years. The contract value was €81.5 million ($85.9 million). The deal includes staff training, instructor fees, additional equipment and spare parts.

The first self-propelled artillery mounts in12 units arrived in the country in 2020. The new batch consists of six K9 Kõu, which were delivered to the port of Paldiski. In addition, Estonia intends to sign a new contract for the purchase of another 12 South Korean howitzers in the near future.
