What is known
We wrote a few days ago about the fact that a Russian citizen Vladimir Shilov was detained while trying to take a drone from Estonia for the Russian army. But the story has evolved.
May 11, 43-year-old Vladimir began to raise fundsto buy a drone for the military. As it turned out, with the money raised, he managed to purchase three unmanned aerial vehicles at once. The “volunteer” was detained at the Koidula border checkpoint.
The court sentenced the Russian to one year in prisonconclusions. At the same time, a man must spend four months behind bars. Eight months were replaced with a suspended sentence with a probationary period of four years. The convict lost his drones and must pay more than €1,600 in compensation for procedural costs.
Not only Vladimir Shilov suffered. The court imposed a five-month suspended sentence on two men who transferred money to Shilov's account. Probationary period - 20 months. Two convicts need to be compensated for expenses in the amount of approximately €1225 and €1190.
