Europe showed a new generation of warship on video

The Spanish shipbuilding company Navantia showed a new generation warship in a video. This is the F110 frigate,

or Bonifaz.

The video reportedly shows the ship's latest configuration. Naked Science notes that the development of the F110 is one of the most ambitious programs in the history of Spanish shipbuilding.

The country's Ministry of Defense has already ordered five Bonifaz frigates for the Navy. The new ships should replace the Santa Maria class frigates. Rearmament should take place in the 2020s.

F110 will use a multi-functional combatinformation management system Aegis. So the ship will be able to process information from the sensors of other ships and aircraft. The Bonifaz has a displacement of 6100 tons. The ship will be able to reach speeds of up to 35 knots. The F110 will be armed with a 127 mm gun, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and torpedoes.
