Europe withdraws from project with Russia to explore Mars

The ExoMars project began in 2005.The European Space Agency was preparing to send a Russian landing platform and a European rover to Mars. Everything was supposed to take place in the summer of 2022. Both the Russian landing module "Kazachok" and the rover "Rosalind Franklin" have already been prepared.

Now, the ESA board has decided to officially terminate cooperation with Roscosmos on the ExoMars mission.
