Experts have checked if you need to put 32 GB of RAM in your gaming computer. In particular, they

considered the option with the installation of four peer-to-peer DDR4 8 GB modules and compared it with the 2 x 8 GB option.

For tests, we took a computer with an AMD processorRyzen 7 2700X and Radeon VII 1800/1200 MHz graphics card. The motherboard was chosen by ASRock X470 Taichi, and G. Skill Trident Z F4-3200C14Q-32GTZ in various configurations was used as RAM.

Tests were carried out at 1080p with the samesettings for all DDR4 modules. For experiments, we took the games Assassin's Creed: Origins, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Far Cry 5, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Strange Brigade, The Division 2 and Shadow of The Tomb Raider.

As a result, tests showed that 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4Peer-to-peer RAM does not have an advantage over 16GB (2 x 8GB) of the same memory in games. The difference looks minor and may be in error.
