“These rains can cause life-threateningflash floods and landslides in Central America today and Monday, with dangerous conditions also reaching southern Mexico, the agency said in its latest bulletin.
Maintaining tropical storm strength, hurricane“Julia” is forecast to cause between 12.7 and 25.4 cm of precipitation in Nicaragua and El Salvador, with up to 38 cm falling in isolated areas.
