Oregon State Department of Lands (DSL)sent a letter to Edge Cable Holdings, a Facebook-listed subsidiary, saying the company has 30 days to reach an agreement with the state for damages and 180 days to remove the equipment or obtain permission to leave it there.

Garbage after the accident is at a depth of 50 metersnext to the rural community of Tierra del Fuego. However, in the last days of drilling, problems have arisen. County lawyer Edge Cable reported on May 5 that the drill pipe broke on April 28, two days before the construction deadline ended.
