a lot of people need help.Therefore, Facebook introduced a new feature that will allow users to help each other. It can be found in the Community Help section and will make it easier to raise money for food, clothing and other vital items people need.

Icon at the top of the home pagecommunity allows you to request or offer help. After creating a request, as in the case of a crowdfunding company, a progress indicator will appear showing how close the community or a particular person is to achieving their goal. Facebook also makes it possible to contact the person who created the help request. For now, the company plans to present the feature only in the US, but in the future it will be available in other countries as well.

In the future, users will be able toshare a message about those in need within a few kilometers of your current location. At the same time, 100% of the funds will go to this organization, the social network will not withhold a commission. The company noted that it will soon provide more information on the financial side of the function - perhaps the social network plans to connect payments via Facebook Pay.

Charity campaigns are just one ofways that Facebook users can help those in need this year. From December 1, 2020, the company plans to run a Giving Tuesday promotion where they want to raise up to $ 7 million in donations to US nonprofits.
