Facebook Messenger Appears on macOS

Facebook developers have begun testing the Messenger app on the macOS platform.

What is known

Client for

macOS is developed on the Electron framework.It has the same features as the mobile app. In the program you can chat, send files, stickers and emoji, as well as make video calls and participate in group chats. In addition, the application also has a Dark Mode, which corresponds to the dark theme of the operating system itself.

When to expect

Facebook Messenger has already appeared in the App Store on macOS, but so far only in France, Poland, Australia and several other countries. When the application will be available to everyone is unknown.
