Facebook is constantly accused of doing too little to stop the spread
International non-governmental organizationReporters Without Borders is suing Facebook. The plaintiffs said that the social network promises users a "safe, reliable and error-free" online space, but in fact, xenophobic publications and fakes are spreading on Facebook.
French and Irish must respond to the lawsuitFacebook branches. At the same time, Reporters Without Borders expects that this legal case will have “global consequences” for Facebook, because the social network has uniform terms of service around the world.
Under French law, Facebook will have to pay a fine of up to 10% of its annual sales in that country.
