Fairphone officially announced the modular smartphone Fairphone 3. The device is made from environmentally friendly

materials, absolutely "ethical" (no child or slave labor and no deductions for weapons), and also has a high degree of maintainability.

Not a gadget, but an idea

The manufacturer relied on the fact thatthe user does not have to buy a new smartphone because of a breakdown. All seven Fairphone 3 modules are screw-fastened and easy to replace. Among the suppliers of components there are no companies that use forbidden labor in production or deduct part of the profits for the development of weapons. The smartphone is made from recycled materials and, compared with more traditional devices, is quite environmentally friendly.

For the 450 Euro model, the Fairphone 3 hasvery weak characteristics. The protected Gorilla Glass 5 display has a diagonal of 5.7 inches and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The hardware basis of the smartphone was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory with the ability to install microSD. The resolution of the main camera is 12 MP, while the front camera received one 8 MP sensor. For autonomy in the Fairphone 3 meets the battery capacity of 3000 mAh. Of the little things declared the ability to install two SIM-cards, support for fast charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, as well as 4G modem.

Sales across Europe will begin on September 3rd.
