FCC Certification Reveals New Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 TWS Earbuds

Samsung's product range already includes wireless headphones Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds Pro. And now,

Looks like a new model is on the way.

What is known

We are talking about the Galaxy Buds 2 headphones, which will replace the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+. They have already passed FCC certification number SM-R177, making their design famous.

So, the headphones look more like GalaxyBuds Pro, not Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Buds+. The images show infrared sensors for automatically detecting when headphones are removed from the ears and metal charging connectors. Only the black colorway is shown, but there will likely be other colors as well.

In addition, the total battery capacity is 120 mAh (that is, 60 mAh for each earphone) and 500 mAh for the case. For comparison, the Galaxy Buds+ have 85 mAh.

The headphones will support Bluetooth 5.0 and Qi wireless charging (2.5 W).
