Fear for GTA 6: Grand Theft Auto co-founder and screenwriter leaves Rockstar

Rockstar Games was founded in 1998 by the brothers Sam and Dan Housers along with Terry Donovan and Jamie King.

Now, after 21 years of work, one of the “parents” of GTA and Red Dead leaves the company.

Rockstar Co-Founder & Creative Vice PresidentGames Dan Hauser leaves the studio. In the spring of 2019, the developer took a break, but now decided to leave completely. Dan will leave his workplace on March 11, 2020. The new job, as well as the reason for leaving, is not called.

Dan Hauser has worked on almost every part of GTA inthe role of screenwriter since the days of London 1969. In addition, the writer shared creativity for Bully and both Red Dead Redemption. Hauser has given the industry over 20 years, so leaving seems justified. According to PC Games N, after the announcement of Dan Hauser's resignation, Take-Two shares fell 5%.

Since 2018, there have been rumors on the network about GTA 6, which Rockstar is developing in silence. It is possible that by March 11 Dan Hauser will finish his part of the work and be able to leave the studio.
