Until the release of its devices, Apple prefers to keep them out of the hands of anyone except
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have almost the same dimensions asiPhone 7 and 7 Plus, so no surprises are expected here. The main question is what will be the size of the iPhone X relative to other devices.
While everyone is actively discussing the screen of the newiPhone X and the Face ID face recognition feature, we are actually intrigued by the dimensions of this device. The iPhone X is thinner and shorter than the Plus models, despite the fact that its screen size is formally larger. In fact, this size almost coincides with the dimensions of the iPhone 7/8. It's just unbelievable to get a device with a screen size, like the Plus models, whose case is smaller. So, the iPhone 7 Plus is a great model, but sometimes it feels a bit cumbersome, especially when you try to hold the phone with one hand and reach from the left edge to the right.
All the technical characteristics of the new devices are already known, and now we will be only interested in their height and width. So:
- iPhone X: 5.65 x 2.79 inches
- iPhone 8 Plus: 6.24 x 3.07 inches
- iPhone 8: 5.45 x 2.65 inches
