games will disappear from PlayStation after the closure of stores for older consoles

Sony recently announced that in the summer of 2021

will close digital stores for old PlayStation 3, PS Vita and PSP consoles. The VGC portal has calculated how many games will disappear after this.

After July-August 2021, players will not be able tobuy digital copies of games and add-ons for specified consoles. Journalists estimate that more than 2,000 PS3, Vita and PSP games will be lost. Of course, most of them can be run on other platforms - newer PS consoles or PCs. However, approximately 120 games will disappear forever. Beyond Good and Evil HD, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and both Bionic Commando, for example, will be exclusive to the Xbox.
