Personalized Media Communications LLC (PMC) patent infringement money. Experts, however, say the latter is a patent troll.

Apple was accused of patent infringement related todigital rights management (DRM). According to the media, PMC only receives income from patent litigation. This company filed a lawsuit against Apple back in 2015. Then the company from Cupertino was accused of infringing seven patents on the iTunes service. Apple, however, was able to defend itself.

This time, the court sided with the PMC. Apple decided to appeal the jury's decision, insisting that the company is only harming consumers.
