On April 16, 2023, Finland connected topower grid block OL3 (OL3). It has a capacity of 1600 MW. Thus, with a total capacity of 3380 MW, Olkiluoto entered the top 30 nuclear power plants in the world. Together with Loviisa, the two stations provide 32.8% of the electricity in the country.
