First 3D-printed house goes on sale

SQ4D uses automated construction methods or 3D printing to construct buildings and

structures.In particular, the company uses ARCS technology. This patented robotic system erects foundations, exterior walls, interior walls, pipelines and more. it takes six to eight hours to install it on a construction site.

The cost of such construction is 50% cheaper than the cost of comparable newly built homes in Riverhead, New York, and 10 times faster.

The 3D printed house will include 130 sq m of living space and will be built of concrete. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate garage for 2 cars.

By the way, this is the first house to be 3D printed and certified as a place of residence. It was not easy due to the strict building and housing regulations.
