First estimates of the MediEvil remake: more disappointing than happy

A remake of the MediEvil for the PlayStation 4 will reach gamers only on October 25, but the gaming press has already managed to evaluate

updated classics.

After 42 review by critics, the average rating of the game onMetacritic is 69 points. PlayStation Universe journalist gave the project 95 points, noting the graphics and gameplay, but cursing the game for the camera and the “awkward” combat system. At the same time, for the author of Videogames Chronicle, this was enough to give the project 40 points. The MediEvil remake received the same rating from Screen Rant, whose journalist wrote down the checkpoint system and controls in minuses.
