First look at OPPO Watch 3 with the latest Snapdragon W5 Gen 1

A couple of weeks ago, Qualcomm expanded its portfolio of chipsets for smartwatches, introducing the world to the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1

and W5+ Gen 1.The first in the world to show them in action was the honor of OPPO, which today officially announced the imminent presentation of the OPPO Watch 3. Moreover, according to the poster, it will be based on the younger Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, while the older W5+ Gen 1 may go to Vivo or Mobvoi. But who definitely won’t get it is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro, which are credited with the Exynos W920 or its modification.

Meanwhile, Weibo scattered across the expansesimage, very similar to the official poster of OPPO Watch 3, but not yet confirmed by official promotional materials. Curiously, the poster shows two models: one with a wheel on the right side, and the other with a button. We'll find out how it works in practice in the coming weeks. The company has not yet announced the date of the announcement of OPPO Watch 3.
