Samsung should begin closed beta testing of One UI 5 firmware based on Android 13 in July, which will be available to current
flagships of the Galaxy S22 series until the end of this year.The 9to5google resource gained access to an early version of the test firmware, where some innovations became known. In particular, Samsung is once again adjusting the design of the curtain (playing with transparency, changing the icons, adding a display of the active application), and also adding new multitasking gestures (swiping with two fingers from the bottom activates the dual screen mode, swiping from the top corner of the pop-up window). In addition, the Koreans will teach the smartphone to copy text from a picture and transfer it to messages (hello, iOS 16), streamline the security and privacy settings, add a smartphone image to the “About phone” and UWB in settings.
It seemed strange to the author that the pop-upthe permission window now looks like it does on stock Android, but this may be an adjustment for the early status of the firmware. In general, there are not many changes yet, but work continues. We expect more clear information towards the end of July.
